The Red Dragons were at Wham Stadium to face Stanley in their latest League Two fixture. Co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney were watching on from afar, as they took in a trip to the historic Formula 1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas, and they may have to contend with punishments handed out as a result of unruly behaviour in the stands.

It is alleged that certain individuals among the Wrexham fan base threw “four vapes and cigarette lighters” at Accrington keeper Jon McCracken towards the end of a fourth tier fixture in Lancashire – with the game having to be stopped for 10 minutes.
WHAT THEY SAID
McCracken avoided injury, but local police are now looking into the incident – with it suggested that the missiles in question came from the lower stands in the Coppice End, which houses the away support. Chief Superintendent Melita Worswick, who oversaw policing of the game, has said: “A football match should be a family-friendly event and this type of incident, where items have been thrown at a player, is utterly unacceptable. We are asking anybody who can help our enquiries to get in touch. Perhaps you know who threw the items, or perhaps you caught the offender or offenders on mobile phone footage. Whatever you know, please get in touch.”
